The Duke of Gloucester visited St Peter’s, Peterchurch. This was the first time one of our projects has received a Royal Visit and the Duke clearly appreciated the architecture, which has transformed the church into a thriving community space. The important role St Peter’s plays within the local community was demonstrated on the day with all the community groups who use the building present in the nave, creating a packed venue. The Duke’s visit confirmed once again the national significance of this project and it was an encouraging endorsement for all those involved in transforming the church and running it day-to-day.
